螺紋護套(tao)按鍍層(ceng)分類(lei)為(wei)：無(wu)鍍層(ceng)，干(gan)性潤滑劑涂層(ceng)（二硫化鉬(mu)），鍍鎘，Primer FreeTM，鍍銀。另外有染色，鍍彩鋅等(deng)鋼(gang)絲螺(luo)套。

鍍鎘（Cd）螺(luo)套(tao)的(de)(de)表示方法(fa)是(shi)在鋼(gang)絲(si)螺(luo)套(tao)的(de)(de)標記后(hou)加上后(hou)綴(zhui)鎘的(de)(de)化學元(yuan)素符號“-Cd” 如，“8×1.25×8-Cd”：公稱直徑為8mm、螺距為1.25mm、自由狀(zhuang)態下圈數為8圈的鍍鎘鋼絲螺套(tao)。
